IIRC, Russian Blue kitties have bare ears. Had one 40 years ago...

Hm, looks like Flickr mussed the colors a little.

Some clicking occurred, a few lenses were involved, that's about all I know ...

After the big snow we had here where I live we had a new visitor show up. Don't know if she's abandoned or lost but she sure is hungry! She was very skittish at first but will now let us pet her and pick her up. She's going to the vet today for a check up and testing for feline leukemia. If she passes she will be loved and fed until we can find someone to adopt her or where she originally lives. She was quite malnourished when she showed up so I fear she's been abandoned. Our other 5 cats don't take well to strangers and she's trying to find her place in the pride so it's a little noisy sometimes. She is quite the lover girl though. More pics of her as she gets healthier. Her fur is getting it's sheen back after 2 weeks of "hanging out" with us.

If looks could kill you would have been lying on the floor next to the camera after this shot.

I'm glad someone else has a soft spot for the strays. I hope she checks out well and I hope you find a permanent home for her somewhere. She looks like a cutie too!

Vet visit went well, $147 later, no(leukemia)/no(AIDS) and no(heart worm) to anything that might cause us to have HIM put down...lol
Yes, it's a boy. Running a slight fever, Doc doesn't know if it's from a previous infection on his tail or a virus...soooo. Precautions are being taken to try and keep our cats from possibly catching anything if it is a virus. Can't get inoculations due to the fever but antibiotics shot should clear that up before he has to go back in 2 weeks and get them then. Then 2 weeks after...off with his balls! This explains better why my male, Casper, was so upset. I kinda had a feeling but with "Scrappy"'s wild side I wasn't about to go digging around down there and lose a limb!
Scrappy is the name I gave him and the wife decided to have him listed as such...Frosty was another possible name I thought of due to apparent frost bite on his paws but he's a fighter/scrapper in my eyes.

*EDIT* Oh, and yes, the wife and I have a big soft spot for any animal that's neglected. Stray or not, they all deserve love and proper treatment.

Here's shots of our "regular" pride...

All of my animals (3 cats and 3 dogs) have been rescue animals. All from the local humane society except the latest dog, a cutie I found abandoned and near death at about 5 weeks old, back in June. This is her shortly after I found her - you can see she perked up very quickly once she had food, water and TLC:-
