Almost looks like she's choking herself. I don't like the shadow of her legs on the headboard in the 1st. The hot spot on the headboard is pretty distracting in that one too. One speedlight high camera right through an umbrella? She kind of posed herself with a little bit of my direction, and you're spot on about lighting.
