Wast Water in the English lake District at sunset

One of my favourite places in the UK for landscapes, when the weather is right. Which unfortunately isn't often. But in the last month I spent three weeks there and had fabulous light, well for photographs, anyway.

Beautiful light, well captured ... you're right that it doesn't happen often up there. I spent a week in the Lakes recently and didn't see the sun once.
