Hey,

This is a picture I took tonight of St. James Park, home of Newcastle United football club. Not sure whether I prefer colour or Black and White (Newcastle's home kit is black and white :))

Hope you like,
Adam

Cheers tony.
For anyone that is non-UK (or non-football fan should I say) , St James Park has a capacity of 52,200 seats and was first built in 1880, obviously what you see now has been vastly updated over the years.

Cheers for the comments, nice clean up there dimitri- what software did you use to do that? So far I have whatever came bundled with the 350D (not really looked as I'm meant to be spending all my time doing assignments / revision :() and I have CS2. Are there any other good programs to download, i.e. noise clean up software and RAW editing software (for when I do start experimenting with raw)?

I like what you did there david :)

Here's the exif data. Anything lower than ISO 800 was coming out pretty dark (it was pitch black in the park virtually). 400 was alright actually but I was playing around and this was one of the shots I kept (still just using the 32mb card till new ones come, so I manage about 20/or so pics on medium, low quality.)

What did I ever teach you about keeping your levels right, Adam ;)

Nice colours anyway.

It's on a sloping hill (throws your eye a bit- see middle right, its straight), I don't want to deceive people! It's already been rotated a bit as well! due to the fact it was cold, I wasn't really there to take pictures and those two people sat on the bench were shouting at me to hurry up :p

oh yeah and the viewfinder had misted up :(

Yeah I like the stripy version. Hey shame about Owen being injured... he was developing a good partnership with shearer

Yeah futura, was looking good. Shame that Shearer really is on his last legs and needs replacing- we've been linked with all sorts: Nihat or Anelka look very possible. Shame the defence is awful to say the least.

Yeah bramble and boumsong, not exactly going to give given the greatest of confidence. I would steer clear of Anelka unless the souness wants more agro... what was his nickname the incredible sulk!

Yep, we've just got rid of a load of tantrum players- i.e. bellamy, robert. Anelka wasn't too bad at city though and Anelka + Owen is a scary strikeforce, providing they can stay fit. Thank god for Shay Given though, hope he stays and the young lads Steven Taylor (will play for England for sure one day) and Peter Ramage do ok. But as you said bramble and BOOM (hope he gets better after recent very serious family problems) are a joke! Who's your team then?

Shot taken down the pub... best I could manage whilst jumping up and down.

Not what you would want to hear but I hope Owen eventually comes back to Mersey! Could to with more of his goals
