Haha, I like Liverpool. Was in Thailand at the time, remember asking someone on the beach if they knew the score- said it was 3-0 to Milan at half time... I was thinking how bad L'pool were and went to bed... got up and got told that Liverpool won. Watched the replay that night, what a game! Your playing cracking football this season, hope you do well- Benitez has been a god send for you lot- looked good vs. newcastle! Looks good for you that Kewell is getting good again, used to be a fantastic player and I think he still may get back to his old form.

Yeah Kewell seems to be doing ok now also beanpole crouch looks like hes finally got his scoring boots on. I remember the good ol days when a liverpool vs newcastle match was a 3 or 4 goal thriller.

Benitez does look a decent manager, although we were well lucky to scrap it through the last FA cup round, our defence was all over the place.

True, showed up how fragile it is. Aggar may be a good buy though. The fact that you came back shows that you've got a much better winning mentality now though. Shame the games between us arn't the same now, need to get shut of Souness- sure you'd agree with what he did at L'pool.

Yeah 3 years at liverpool and we only had the FA Cup to show for it... I would say after Dalglish the best recent manager we have had is Beni

Was a bit ridiculas in the recent L'pool-Newc game though. Bowyer should not of been sent off and Crouch/Gerrard/Shearer should have all been punished in some way for raising hands. Crouch should of probably walked for incitement and violent conduct in my eyes- not being biased!

True, I cant remember if it was that much or another one but Stevie G pelted it from the middle of nowhere and shoved one of the opposing players... I think it was the newcastle match.

Bowyer does get a lot of flack from refs though, as soon as there is trouble its game over for him.

Yeah it was the newcastle game. Bowyer has a bad name now, whereas Gerrard (as much as I think he is a great player) seems to be untouchable by refs atm! Shame bowyer isn't as good as he used to be, but then again souness is the master of playing people out of position, lowering morale and being tactically clueless. (just look how much better off blackburn are now)

Apparently I think Bowyer wants out and back to Charlton. I think if you get on the wrong side of Soey, thats it, doesnt matter how good you are, he'll eventually push you out of the club.

Don't know if you have read this article but hes not a loved man at all!

I heard that too, apparently Curbishly wants 2.5m plus Bowyer for Murphy. No chance, they are no better than each other, so having to pay is ridiculas. I would take a straight swap though.

Good article btw!

Knowing Soey, I reckon he'll probably be conned into getting Murphy in exchange for Bowyer, Owen, Nobi and a packet of cheese and onion.

Right off to get some kip!
