Fanasitic shot Mark with a 2x TC III on the lens too! The only thing that is common (repeatly happens) is that your consistantly producing excellent captures!

Thanks! They are something to watch, and the young ones are adorable. I have to say I've seen some crazy awesome birds in this forum that I would be doing crazy backflips if I had them in my yard.

The grass seems greener on the other side :-) maybe it should be the birds are always more brilliantly beautiful on the other side? :-)

But keep an eye out for English Sparrows (House Sparrows) and Starlings as they will kill the Bluebirds for their house.

I have a pair of these that have taken up residence in my yard. No idea what they are, but there is a distinctive white stripe running through their wings. They are loud, obnoxious and always on the move.

This is the first time I have been able to get a halfway decent shot. What is it?

I got my 2x Extender, and my first shot was this Loggerhead Shrike
