Fanasitic shot Mark with a 2x TC III on the lens too! The only thing that is common (repeatly happens) is that your consistantly producing excellent captures!

Mate, your Yard looks so good. if i see this one in my area, i wud feel like jumping with joy.
Beautiful

Thanks! They are something to watch, and the young ones are adorable. I have to say I've seen some crazy awesome birds in this forum that I would be doing crazy backflips if I had them in my yard.

The grass seems greener on the other side :-) maybe it should be the birds are always more brilliantly beautiful on the other side? :-)

I put a new bird house in the yard today and a lovely couple came by to check the place out...

Awesome!

But keep an eye out for English Sparrows (House Sparrows) and Starlings as they will kill the Bluebirds for their house.

I have a pair of these that have taken up residence in my yard. No idea what they are, but there is a distinctive white stripe running through their wings. They are loud, obnoxious and always on the move.

This is the first time I have been able to get a halfway decent shot. What is it?

Lucky you.
Now wait for the Romeo singing till morning every night for the Juliet and also you!
I have a few visiting ones Evey Spring to early summer and love their endless day or night singings.
Good image.

That Chickadee looks fat & happy, nice shots!

I got my 2x Extender, and my first shot was this Loggerhead Shrike

Of course, my old buddy came and chased him away, then gave me the stink eye.

This is one of about 4 or 5 that hangs out by the canal in the back
