My images look great on a computer monitor, but not when I make prints using my Epson 2200.

I’ve been struggling with this reality for some time now, and have come to conclusion that it’s probably my workflow.

I shoot in RAW and process in PSCS. I’m reasonably adept at most Photoshop operations, but I believe the problem starts with the interpolation of the file when uprezzing to the print size. Some questions I keep asking myself: Do I process the image first then interpolate and then sharpen? Do I interpolate first and then process then sharpen? Everyone seems to have a different opinion on how to do this. What’s your workflow? Can you recommend some good tutorials on workflows for printing?

Thanks!

Is your monitor calibrated? That's this first thing to do if your prints do not match the screen. If you do a search in google for printing workflow that should throw up a few options.
