... falls mainly in high-lying mountainous areas, because the plains are generally too low and warm for it to settle ...

I woke up last Saturday morning to find my night train stopped at a station ... I woke up again two hours later, when it was a bit lighter, and found it was still there because the station was covered in snow ... photographs ensued.

I then got a bit cold as I hadn't really prepared for snow in my itinerary to include Central Spain and The Mediterranean ... I went back inside to warm up a little ...

Back outside and more adventurous with additional confidence that the train wasn't going to drive off until at least sunrise ...

Once the sunrise had taken place, we did start moving fairly quickly and in the finest of Spanish traditions, I went back to bed ...

Thanks. I probably over-use lines (rather than using them too much in one photo, I simply use them in every photo) but at least it's working in these ones ...
