It took a few tries and a bunch of patience, too. This photo is a 100% crop of the original. It was taken using my EF-70-200 f4L + 1.4xTC. I tried many combos and finally figured out one that worked... I set my 1D on manual mode... Av=f32, Tv=1/8, ISO=250, focal length=280mm, mirror lock up set on, and I used my remote trigger. We're in between rain storms here in Portland this evening, so the skies were clear, but clouds kept rolling by. It was hard, the clouds would clear for a bit, and I'd squeeze off a few shots, but then the cover would return. I need to practice more with the moon.
