my current setup is to have all my raw files recorded on my cf card and jpeg files sent to my eyefi card. however, when i want to import my raw files into LR4 it also imports the jpegs which i dont want to import. anybody know if there is a option to not import the jpegs?

Remove the eyefi card before importing?

In LR, Preferences > General tab
UNcheck the box: Treat JPG files next to RAW as separate photos

I have the same situation. I use the Eye-Fi to send previews to my tablet while shooting. I don't want those JPEG images in Lightroom, though.

I typically re-format all cards after uploading them. To prevent the JPEGs from loading during the import, I've started formatting the Eye-Fi card before the import instead of after.

If that makes you too nervous, the other option is to let it go ahead an import, then sort by file type and delete the JPEGs.

Lightroom gets confused by the fact that the RAW and JPEG files are on two different cards. Even though they have the same capture time and root file name, the software doesn't make the connection. This setting has no effect. Lightroom uploads both the RAW and JPEG files as separate images regardless of how it's set.

Get a card reader and put the CF in it.
