Probably the last few days before these guys travel back home to Tibet or over the Himalayas to Mongolia and East Russia(googled, I have no other means of confirming).
They don't seem to like being bothered by humans(or maybe I don't know how to approach properly yet). This is the best perching shot I could get, from across the road below.
This crested lark however, didn't seem to mind or maybe it is too confident about its blending color. For some shots I had to switch the AF to 3.5m because the lens can't focus so near at the normal AF distance!
Black kites, so many of them in Pune.
This Indian robin was singing so loud! Probably trying to get a girlfriend, could also be a territory fight but I didn't see any other males around. Could not get a better exposure though.
And an ID request.
All taken with my 550D and a borrowed 400/5.6 yesterday. I think I have decided to get this lens over the 300/4IS.
Please CnC, thank you.
