Toshiba has a new SD card with full Fifi capabilities:

If this card is in the camera, do I have remote control through EOS Utility without cable? Help me to spend or not the $$$.

If you read the card specs, it says this:

By offering this Wireless LAN functionality, FlashAirâ„¢ provides the advantage of allowing access to the data stored on the SD Card without the need to remove the card or plug a cable to the device.

Note the words "access to the data stored on the SD Card". It doesn't say anything about controlling the camera, only "access to the data stored on the SD Card".

If you want remote control like the 6D has, the closest thing I have seen (and briefly played with) is the CamRanger. It works with most Canons that have Live View. The Remote app for the CamRanger is also more robust and has more features than the Canon EOS Remote App for the 6D.

All of the WiFi cards are there for wireless data transfer only, not for actually controlling the camera remotely.
