Had an annual light up the christmas tree moment last night and took advantage of photographing it. Fire is not easy! First time I've ever shot it other than a candle. Getting the fire and anything else exposed properly at the same time was pretty much impossible, so I just went for silhouettes. My favorite:

Nice but silhouette cold play a much more major role in this image. If it is candid, you had not much choices, but you can stage this easily with a friend to get what exactly pops out.

^agreed...it was mainly candid, as he was trying to get away from an increasingly large flame ; )
