Also very nice! i think I'd crop a bit off the top of #1, & what are those tracks inside the tracks for?

I wish we had trains like that around here. I like both.

Just a guess on my part but I think something to do with brakes. That's quite a slope for something going the other way.

Wouldn't obviously need brakes going up that hill, so are the lines inside the track for picking up water as I know in the days of steam engines picked up water whilst on the move from between the tracks at designated points

You could be right. It was only a guess on my part as I do not know if there are times a train going down hill could be on either track.

the rails in the middle of the normal rails are in case there is a derailment on that small section of bridge.
They will keep the car from jumping track completely and going over the edge.
