Your light is visible in the reflections. Very distracting.

Try some Rainx on your glass. It will allow it to bead up more and lose all the teeny drops that make the shot really busy.

I like it but agree, Rainx would help. Light looks fine to me. Nice work.

Any suggestions for hiding the lighting? I couldn't get rid of the reflection.

Rainx was used. I think the spray bottle of water I used had too fine an atomization. Still, I like them. Don't think I will ever make a big print though.:D

A couple ideas that I would try, not having any experience with this type of shot:

1) try more diffused/bounced light

2) multiple lights from more to the side

3) a polarized filter

Not sure which order to try them in.

I believe when I tried this I did light it from under the glass with a couple of speedlites. Although, the lighting I see in it is pretty neat. I don't find it at all distracting.

Ya need to use museum quality glass which is non-reflective glass...order it through a local framing shop. ;)

What would that do? I assume you are talking about the lighting but the lighting is being reflected in the water drops, not the glass.
