Mar 03, 2013 18:17 | #2 Overall nice photo, cool subject matter. However I was expecting a visit to the mansion. The glare on the water is pretty bad at the bottom of the shot. The log and rocks are somewhat dull, so is the moss. The waterfall could pop more and more detail would be sweet. 500px Gallery

Crop out the stuff in the foreground (at least until you can get that woman on one of the logs) and chop off the negative black space on the right. 1D-III with stuff to stick on it:

It looks a little soft overall. Another idea might be to lower your perspective. The log looks like it is kind of coming out of nowhere. Maybe get down lower to the ground and make the foreground part of the story, or even take a step in front of that log and then get low. That might also help deal with that reflection in the water in your foreground. Camera + Lens
