Here's the other side to the story to "Baby Bears In A Tree"

Looking over my shoulder I see this big momma looking right at me, moving her paws over the gravel. I was a good 10-12 feet away from her. I stopped shooting and jumped in my driver's side window (well, okay, more of an awkward clamber). Luckily it wasn't locked and the window rolled down. I was in the middle of winding the window up when I thought.."hey this is about as close as I'll probably ever get to a bear..I hope anyway..I should take some pictures of this!"

The white hazy part at the bottom is the out of focus driver's side window, and if you look really close you can see me leaning out of the car-side in her eye's reflection. I recommend packing some bear spray just in case of encounter with bears.

What a neat bear experience you had, Karl!
Did you have to travel far for this shoot, ow was it up in your neck of the woods . . . I mean, your neck of the tundra?!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I was about 120 kilometers in the middle of nowhere...respectfully speaking, about 120 kilometers away from another part of the middle of nowhere
