Once a week, the tribal people gather at their once a week market, bringing along their merchandise for sale.

There's a boy selling chicken...supporting his family when shool is off:

The man whose face is filled up with joy after buying a pig from the market and about to carry it home:

The lady busy buying/selling chilly:

And also in this market you could purchase high quality silver from the local trader:

You could easily see the local people, including lady smoking the common bamboo pipe. Huge pipe that could easily cover half of your face by its diameter:

And the women never stop picking up more decorations for their beauty:

In a 3 degree Celsius temperature, life appears full of colors and dynamic:

If you have time, the mountain market up north of Vietnam is definitely something not to be missed for photography.

It's hard to see that on your own without a local organizer due to some permit has to be granted before foreigners could come.
