Sweet shots, Tony! Makes sense though because film retains highlights better and have greater DR compared to most digital cameras.

No. You just need the latest Nikon dSLR :p

I'm sure ill switch again in the future, but for now I'm content with my 5D2 :)

If I see a d800 for $2k I'd consider it ;)

Hmm... Winds are supposed to be 30mph tonight while I would be shooting... I need to beef up this ladder rig...

Heh. I suggested previously to use "Caution" tape. Add sandbags or weights too.

I don't think that order page is right... They said it's supposed to be $55, and it doesn't have 3 sizes anymore, nor does it have a pull tab.

Caution tape isn't all that needed, I'm not worried about people bumping into it. I'm worried about 30mph winds.

Last night I scanned a few old prints to share in my Photography Page book and noticed how I used t get the shots correct straight from the camera, no post processing- not even cropping or alignment , much more exposure and white balances etc.. now with all the tools even on the iphone we tend to forget that composition is paramount.

Cuz I'm getting a 16-35VR

Now I'll have:
Nikon 16-35mm f/4 G ED VR
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 G
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG A1
Nikon 50mm f/1.8G
Nikon 85mm f/1.8G
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 G VR II

Way too many lenses!!

You must have a beef with your 14-24. Wouldn't it have been simpler to go 14-24, 35, 50, 85, 70-200?
