Pricey.

Wonder if they can keep stock this time around.

I don't think that order page is right... They said it's supposed to be $55, and it doesn't have 3 sizes anymore, nor does it have a pull tab.

ops my bad. changed.

Farlet. they claim it will be more mass produced and have stock in hand unlike before where it was made to order ;p

Thanks!

Yeah I know part of the delay with the pre-orders going up was because they were trying to get production kinks worked out. That's part of the reason why they went with the injection molded parts too, higher production rates. :)

Just ordered one. I've been wanting to try and cinch, and I need a second tripod plate so this will at least hold me over temporarily. :p

You must have a beef with your 14-24. Wouldn't it have been simpler to go 14-24, 35, 50, 85, 70-200?

I got rid of 14-24mm for the price of 16-35 & 35mm ;) remember, I can't spend money! :p

your welcome :D

honestly i like the looks of the original cinch. i'm not sure what to say about the new one. debating to order or wait till what others have to say about it.

not sure if the plate will fit the manfrotto. think someone asked about it in the thread and it was confirmed that it will not fit. ill see if i can find that.

Nick. here's the link. they are working on creating one for the rc2 plate.

Yeah, I like the looks too. Supposedly they will be offering an aluminum upgrade kit for the cinch II.

And yea, it won't fit Manfrotto heads. They have an aluminum plate coming for that though!

I'll probably through the luma plate on my 7D and keep it on there, and then put my Markins plate on my 5DIII and use the cinch ii with that.

Nope. Manfrotto is NOT arca-swiss compatible. Membrane connector accessroy is for the Manfrotto.

oh. nvm i forgot you had a manfrotto legs, not ball head ;p

one other thing thats different, other then the shoulder grip, is the rings, or whatever you call it. the original is more thick versus the round flimsy looking ones. i'm sure its tough though.

i do like the original pull tab. it makes it easy to grip onto for a pull and it was already easy to use, wonder how much easier can get it lol

Yeah... I liked the pull tab too, just because it's a larger area to grab onto.

thought you loved your 14-24? :P what about your filters? they were made for it right?

im debating on 14-24 or 16-35. reason for 16-35 is because i dont want to spend more $$ on filters. :/
