So I'm not sure how this week is going to work for me... Sunday through Thursday I have a shoot everyday and Saturday and Sunday are going to fill up... I just don't know how I'm going to manage editing all the shots

let me be honest with you. i very much prefer your old way of shooting. i'm not liking the fashion stuff. i'm sure its due to the models and their wierdy clothing and 'unique' posing :P

thats what i read first hehehe

good for you. i honestly wish i got paid hehe

Unfortunately the shoots this week aren't paid :(, I'm just doing a lot of testing with agencies and models.. Trying to get as much done before I go to college on June 23rd.

Btw I want to give everyone from prom the files, but don't want them to print any bigger than 8x12 (otherwise they have to go through me) so what is the minimum size to export for 8x12? I saw its 1200x1800 if that's correct?

Personally I like my new stuff better. The bookers I've talked to love my stuff on my site so I'm sticking to my newer stuff :p:lol:

you don't like it probably because you liked my lifestyle work with far more attractive girls.

i dont care if you like them or not. only my opinion counts :)

hey, if you like them, and others as well, that is good enough :D

i dont know about size, just make them small, but not tiny thumbnail small hehe. for me i just set things to 1024 as bigest to make it potn friendly and i started to use that as a standard for web. i think you can go smaller since most of the people just view em on mobile device now...

Hehe Baan your opinon is the only one that matters <3

I'm still figuring out how to edit in a way that I like as well as pushing angles and lighting.. After this week I hope that my portfolio will be in good standing is all.

I just don't want to make them huge as I don't want people to have the ability to print 20x30, if they want bigger than I'd charge them for it as 8x12 is still pretty big.

I can see it but it took a while to fully load. Well, all of Flickr has been turtle slow since the new launch.

+1

By the way Omar, are you following the Stanley Cup Finals? Rangers survived tonight! :)

Hanging on by a thread!!!

I'm going away this weekend.

As far as movies go, I'm looking forward to "Man of Steel".

I look forward to it too. The teaser trailer didn't appeal to me, but I've since seen the full trailer, and I'm hyped about the movie.

The movie I'm most anticipating is Pacific Rim. Giant monsters. Giant Mechas. Rinko Kikuchi! So much win.

Well I'm trying to figure out what people actually thing is slow about it, they just say it's slow.

Do the pictures load slower, to the pages take forever to change, etc... No one gives any specifics.

For me, it sometimes run slow, and sometimes runs just fine. When it is slow, it's everything that loads slowly. I know it has nothing to do with my internet connection. At work, it tends to be worst, but part of it is due to the older browser (IE8...) we have no choice to use. IE8 is incapable of properly displaying certain elements (and that's true of many other sites, not just Flickr).

I wanted NYR to boot the B's (and I even resorted to rooting for the Leafs to do the same, yikes!). Doesn't look promising, but at least they gave some fight, finally. It really looks like Pens-Bruins for East finals, the two teams I didn't want to see out of the East, ugh!

Maybe the free 1TB on Flickr won't take that long to fill up after all.

D. Vance wrote in post #15963014 (external link)
Uh oh... I've been asked to read a poem for the School Day Out program tomorrow at the school- that I wrote about what it'd be like if I tried to fix a diesel truck. I'm not sure if they'll think it's funny, or wonder if I got my 'crazy' setting set to 'full retard'.
:lol::lol::lol:

Why I Am Not A Mechanic
-Darin Vance

I had no idea what was wrong with the truck
it would appear that I was just plain outta luck.
I was not aware of the implications
if the pistons were not in their proper formations
if the flippers' floppers were not properly tripped,
and the floppers' flippers' switches were not properly flipped,
I didn't know which wire to snip!

By then I was wishing the motor wasn't missing,
and wondering why the thingajiggy was hissing!
if the truck disappeared in a cloud of blue smoke,
I didn't know just what injectors to poke!
if the spritzer's sprockets were in the wrong pocket,
then I wasn't sure which one of the dockets
should be plugged into the third-from-left wocket.

Looking back and predicting what would happen next,
I'm pretty sure it would have been a safe bet,
that the truck would explode right in my face
and almost blow me up to outer space.

The explosion, it rocked all the windows and floors,
it blew down mailboxes, and knocked over doors.
I don't remember what happened next,
except rescuing my mechanic's hat
and seeing the appearance of the poor pet cat.
The next thing I know, the air hose explodes,
and smacks the poor cat square in the nose.
The poor creature turned with a hiss and a squall,
and the next thing it spied was my overalls.
Apparently they looked really safe inside,
because that's where the critter tried to hide.
I jumped around and began to beg,
whilst it made laps inside my pants legs.

The next thing I know, my nose is in an oil pan,
and out on the lawn was a news crew's van
with mechanical experts from Fotta-Fa-Zoo,
telling the audience what not to do!
"He pushed the wrong plunger! He pulled the wrong plug!"
one expert shouted, while clutching his mug.
Another cut in and began to chatter,
explaining the cause of the commotion and clatter.
"The walla-wa-zooza was painted green,
so it should have plugged into slot number three!
The fizzalagooga was programmed as such,
that the engine's exhaust packed way too much punch!"

Soon the whole neighborhood was gathered there,
the entire town council, and even the mayor!
They weren't quite sure whether to hide or stare
(Probably on account of my burnt crispy hair.)
Then the Sheriff showed up, and with an important air,
said, "My fellow, you've given us all quite a scare!
And while we're all really glad that you're still alive,
I'm afraid I must give you a terrible fine!
The exhaust pipe flew off and hit Riley's dog,
the engine contaminated the cranberry bog!
The oil that I'm sure you can plainly see,
has leaked down the road and right into the street!
Mr. Jones, who was walking to the mailbox and back,
got hit in the head by a flying cat!
So for disturbing the peace, and frightening three clowns,
I'm afraid we can no longer have you in town.
However, IF you agree to never play mechanic,
and don't mess with an engine, or make the town panic,
then I'm sure that you can stay,
for a couple days, anyways.
We're confiscating your wrenches and sockets,
since you no longer have to adjust your trucks' sprockets."
He wished me well, and went on his way,
and the town assured me that I could stay,
(If I just stayed out of the way).

About that time, I awoke in a panic,
and that is why I am not a mechanic.

Well done indeed.

So now Yahoo are bidding for Hulu - can see that one going down the toilet if they win that bid.

They're accountants. Guess they like to be ahead of schedule after tax season.
