Hehe no J-girls insight, and even if there are I wouldn't dare take a photo straight at them, they could report me if they want.

she's always with me :)

2 weeks already haha

The m43 images looks very good in monotone and clean too... at least from my experience, but still the AF-C sucks big time haha

yeap see... that's about the right age haha

Yeah she does approve of me shooting j-girls, its the j-girls that are the problem.

If you ask me, it's a crime that some countries prevent such activities

Anyhoo, with candid photography in general, if my eyes can see you, why can't my camera lens? :p There are always a few people out there who act like jerks just because you accidentally catch them in a picture. Some annoying teenager punk said I wasn't allowed to take a picture of him when he was one of hundreds I caught in front of the Indy Motor Speedway waiting to get in yesterday. He tried to lecture me, I cut him off--told him to shut up--and then continued on my way. If they don't like the way of the world now, wait until everyone out there has a google glass on their face!

It's actually not a sling, it's just a hiking backpack with a waist strap that you can flip around and access all your gear from. It's quite nice. But yeah those slings are great too!

I used to use one of the older Flipsides. Great packs, but I always worried about the zippers coming undone, or someone accessing the pack without my knowledge (ie standing in line).

With the way the Japanese are... they will never confront me like that for sure. I just don't want to be seen as that "creepy foreigner"

Yeap google glass should be awesome... for that purpose :)

Are you going to get one? I think I will, but not as an early adopter. If you're wearing one, I think everyone is going to immediately assume you're recording...

The zippers for the sport are on the back of the bag so they're right against your body, so there is no way they would open without you knowing. :)

I seem to have a dumb problem...

I currently shoot RAW + L JPEG. When I import my photos using lightroom, I can only see the raw file on lightroom but if I check the folder itself both the JPEG and Raw files are there.

any idea?

Do you have "Don't import suspected duplicates" checked under File Handling on the import screen?

hmmm no I don't think so, besides .ORF and .JPEG are different formats I doubt lightroom would suspect them to be duplicates.

See... no JPEG

Raw files have the jpeg preview files embedded in them.

but if I want to edit the JPEG files only? how will I see them? :(

If I go to the folder directly I see them... I was able to import them by putting them in a separate folder entirely then importing them again but I was hoping there's a direct way to do it.
