Well I love wide... so I can always use my 50 1.2 when I want bokeh... I love wide and I love bokeh. I don't know which I love more. I think I will use a wide angle lens more.

What attracts you to the 16-35 II? The f2.8? :)

I don't buy anything over 2.8 :D,

I just like wide. I love architectural interior shots... and when you get a wide shot you can tell a story. It'll go well with my Lee big stopper too! I love photos that tell a story. Wide gives context.

Julian, have you had enough time to pick between 5D3 and the D800? If you only could have one, which would it be?

I got rid of my instagram again (forever now) so I wouldn't know whether he's still even alive.

both you and Julian should just stay away from those social networking sites. it's always trying it and canceling/deleting it. it must be the Nikon pride :p

The 16-35 isn't good for architectural shots. You need a TS-E for that. :)

Woohoo, another 12 over 5 upset called. That makes 2 today, into 2nd place in the company pool. (91st percentile in the nation.)

I stay away from them! I only have Gplus and Flickr. Everything else - gone. Waste of time!

WHAT??? a 16-35 is not good for architectural shots??? A tse is too specialized. It wouldn't be usefull for much else would it?

I would pick Nikon based on the sensor alone. :)

It's the difference of fixing distortion in PP (I'm sure there is a technique for it) or before the shot is taken.

As far as usefulness, it's as useful as any other manual focus lens that is really sharp with a few tricks up it's sleeve.

I would pick Nikon because the big lenses are cheaper, not including the 800mm of course.
