They should have classified this something else like "Insurgent"

Hmmm.... "Die insurgent scum!" doesn't have the same ring to it.

That is an excellent training hill! Perfect for repeats and trying form sprints!

I have one near me that really is a kicker. I add it at the end of my training rides sometimes and it completely kills me

Yeah, I don't know how many repeats I would be able to do, even just for the sake of time. But it would be good for that.

Either way you get to that hill you have to combat some pretty hilly terrain too, it makes for quite an adventerous 40-50mile ride.

Stupid internet is so slow, that link won't load. You have some pretty crazy terrain in your area though.

Sounds like an excellent 40-50 mile spin!!! I think you need to do it this weekend!

Damn well these are the stats on that hill: .3 miles...easy right?...averages 9% grade with numerous 25% hick ups along the way

Maybe in a couple of weeks. I need to get out for a decent 30-35 mile ride this weekend though. Get used to sitting on a bike seat again.

Haha, yeah that's pretty intense. Those are always fun hills to ride down!

You are just in denial that a 3rd party lens is kicking OEM lenses in the rear  ;)

Yeah i had one of my regulars from last year show up for the first time this past week. Guy is a monster but always takes off two months in the winter to snowboard in the swiss alps. Said his bum was killing him after the ride this past sunday

Yeah too bad i will never be able to go down this hill as it is a one way street. The other side eventually goes down the whole way but takes miles to do so

 I'm sure his legs are fine from skiing, but yeah, getting used to a bike saddle again sucks.

Just go for it!

Hehe! I'm not doubting. There have been reports of bad copies out there but, I will certainly pick one up since you keep harping about it's performance. :)

Adorama will test them out before they ship it if you ask them. THere are details in a few threads around here, I guess it's not an official Adorama thing, but something that Helen and her boss came up with.
