Why not just get a 24 1.4? It's wide but not that wide. 35mm isn't wide enough for architecture shots, but if you have enough room it is. I can also post up some 100% unsharpened crops that will blow you away at how sharp the 35 1.4 is.

One w/o sharpening and the other with LR's default. I couldn't use the one with the default setting since it was wayyyy to sharp and compression ruined the image. It's the second time I've had several things in my cart and missed that 1 thing was out of stock. They need to fix that on their site, if its happening to me, it's happening to other people.
