Hi. So my lens is about 3 months old, for me, that is. I bought it used, so the age is unknown. It's a Pentax 50mm 1.7. I have just recently got into photography so I am real amateur. Just today, I noticed that my lens was feeling a bit loose, and when I took it apart from my camera to move it around this happened.

Please if there is anything you know or have any idea what's happened let me know! Because i'm not too familiar with these things I stopped tinkering with it so I don't mess it up more. Thank you for any responses in advance.

Looks like a locking ring might have broken, luckily for you those lenses are cheap and plentiful. Should be able to pick up another for around $10 USD.
