Mount Panorama Hill climb

First attempt at motorsport so please critique away ! Have already read some of the comments on other threads re shutter speed so keen to try that next time out.

Yep, shutter speed. Wheels are frozen.

Also context. Your title says this was a hill climb, but these shots don't look like they're climbing any hills.

Thanks for the feedback and will work on wheel/ subject motion and context etc, had look at your link luso and totally agree, great dramatic impact with the wheels blurred and a little smoke always looks good !

Yep I have to agree.
Would have liked to have seen that Torana (or anything) coming the "wrong" way through The Dipper.
Even a wider shot through The Esses showing the elevation would have been good (even though these were in The Esses - but I know that because I know The Mountain like the back of my hand).
Not every shot of a car on a track has to be of just the car. Including the surroundings is a good way of telling the story and giving depth and meaning to the shot.
The Mountain has so many opportunities for great shots even when they are going the "wrong" way.

Not a criticism at all but I was looking forward to seeing a motorcycle hill climb shot, its that old assume tale

Thanks Phil, appreciate the comment unfortunately I was pushed for time and would have preferred to scout some better vantage points before hand and of course spend longer up there. There is another event at Christmas so will get better organised next time. Here is another from the day with different perspective but seems a little too front on to offer much in the shot. Thanks again for the feedback.

Actually, I prefer that last shot.
It's got a bit of depth and feel to it.
