i had my first model shoot last night. Lots of fun, it was actually nice not having to direct her, she heard the camera click and moved to the next pose. we got into a nice rhythm quickly.

here are a few samples:

as always C&C welcome.

Reds are pretty saturated in 1 thru 3 and 3 could do with a little skin work and fix the bloodshots in her eyes. 4 and 5 are over exposed.

It's great to have a model that knows what to do when. # 2 might be a good shot if it were desaturated a little and do a bit of skin work, maybe fix the darkness under her eyes.

#3 but soften, lighten, smooth, and remove veins in eyes.

that's guys, I'll pull back red, i actually didn't do to much to 1-3, SOTC, golden hour light.

any ideas on how to fix the veins in the eyes? desaturation looked unnatural.

I clone them out. Zoom way in and make your brush size very small. Find a nice white area and clone from there.

Great job for your first shoot! I like the natural, early morning sun look captured in 2 as well as the flare in 6!

Beyond doubt Hallmark is #3.
On 1, like to see head separation from the similar tone BG.
On last one, What on the earth should cause that bright flair.

Over all; Very well done.

#6 is 100% natural. no artificially added sweeteners. that isn't to say i didn't help the image with some clarity, dodge, burn and vibrance, but im proud of that one.

normally i need to make my own flare.
