I'm looking for a particular piece of equipment that I'm not sure if I've made up in my head or something but what I imagine it to be is some type of panel light that you wall mount and has some type of way to hang your prints beneath to get a nice judgment of how your prints are coming out. It seems simple to me but I can't seem to figure out what its called or if it exists. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone but any help would be appreciated!

Double post:

So I discovered that it'd be a called a "Print Viewing Station". Which would simply be this ($400+):

Considering how expensive it is.. I figured it'd be easier to make my own DIY with a photo holder that holds photos in this fashion with a light

Does anyone know of such a holder like the image above that is photo friendly?

May not hold it vertically, though I suemise there would a DIY or jury-rig way to do it but here is an economical way of viewing prints at the right colour temp.

For the record you can get the same looking lamp (with the right daylight lamp installed) without Grey Card in craft shops/online suppliers for much less money ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Go to a craft shop and pick up an Ott light (ottlite.com). Set it up on a desk or table and lay the print under it. I use a small, handheld, battery powered Ott light to evaluate prints that way. (I use the model CDO-006, but it's no longer available.)

The Grafilite and Ottlite came up in my searches but it doesn't work for me as I have no table space available and so I need something wall mounted for this.

Edit: I see that was allready mentioned.
I think it should be possible to wall-mount these lights, right?
