Holy hell that's an amazing shot! Mind giving us some info on the steps you took to make it?

Heres a couple of shots from a wedding back in November. I know everyone is sick of seeing pictures with backlit rain drops, but this was actually my first go at this type of picture.

Both shots have a 5 speedlight setup

What was the setup for your 5 lights? That's a lot of stands and powers to configure.

In the first shot there is 2 speedlights placed behind the railing down about 10 feet on a path pointing straight up to light the rain.
There is another bare speedlight on the brides left side for rim,
Main light is a speedlight through a 60cm softbox camera right, and one on camera as master.
All 600ex-rts

Second shot is actually only 4 600s plus a St-e3 as master.
1 behind the couple for back light, 2 out of frame camera right and left behind the couple pointing 45 back towards the pagoda to light rain drops
1 in a 60cm softbox left of the couple which I edited out.

All manual power controlled via the master.

Like the color and contrast! That skin texture work makes her skin look super weird.

Maybe that was not well articulated. The transitions between smooth and texture don't look very natural to me. I'm only guessing based on other images of her but her skin probably looks better in real life. Good work nevertheless.
