Anybody have any experience with this:

....and is it made to simply support the rolls using only the cardboard tube ? I'm afraid if so, the cardboard tube will sag in time and ruin the paper with wrinkles.

That kit looks just like the Manfrotto one that I have. The price of that Interfit kit really makes it very attractive although I can't say anything about its quality because I've not had any experience with it. I've bought other Interfit products, though, and the quality was pretty good.

To answer your question, yes, the roll is supported at the ends and by the cardboard tube. I've never had sagging problems with my rolls but I use the shorter rolls. Not sure about the linger rolls though.

Thanks Leo for the comments. I think I may try one and see if I can rig it to where I have a metal pipe running thru the cardboard core. I will be hanging 9' wide rolls on it.

I have used this at a client's studio. Client is an ad agency and they have this in their small studio.... flimsy and breaks easily. I advised them to find a heavy duty one that can handle the load of their work.

It is not good if you use it everyday..... breaks easily.
