Got a quick troubleshooting question. I was shooting with my 2 einsteins, with my CST on my 5D3 last night. I was taking a few test shots checking my exposures when on my last shot, my two einsteins just started going off really rapidly. I quickly hit the power switch on both lights, then turned them both back on, and all was back to normal. I checked my CST and hit the test button to see if it was still working, and it wouldn't trigger the lights. I pulled the battery, and stuck it back in, and hit the test button, and it worked again.

I went through another 30-40 shots, and the same thing happened again. I repeated my previous fix, and all was well. It ended up happening one more time after that.

Anyone else have this happen? Is is just my battery in my CST dying?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Classic symptom of low battery in your CST. Replace it and put a spare in your camera bag.
