Couple shots I got quick the other night of the sunset, looked as if it was a cross made out of the sunset.

Comments and criticism welcome!

Nice capture, I'm sure that view didn't last long. Good timing.

Not at all, I pulled into my girlfriend's driveway, turned around and saw it, went to take out my phone to take a pic and then remembered I had my camera in the trunk from a shoot that was planned but feel through, the night before... Really worked out perfect.. Wish I woulda had time to pull out the tripod and take a little longer of a shot, but that's how quickly it went down lol

Thanks! To be honest, I don't really know much about astronomy or anything of that nature.. hopefully I'll learn a little bit by checking out some of the pictures in this section. Some are truly amazing!

I'm in Janesville, not far at all from you. These were taken in Milton and I actually go to school in Milwaukee at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

You ever photograph with other people? I wouldn't mind getting together with people in the area and learning a little bit more or just going out and having a good time taking some shots!

That's cool. I shot the same sunset from target parking lot that night while the wife was inside shopping! What all do you shoot?

Nice, did you get any to turn out?

I shoot basically everything, I just like seeing what I can do really.. I'm sure you can tell, by looking at my setup, T3, Kit lens, Tamron 70-300 VC, I'm just starting and not too serious with the gear yet..

Basically right now i've shot various things such as this sunset, other exposure shots, birds, landscapes and I hope to get into shooting cars in the summer.

Nothing that I really hope to specialize in, just have a good time and shoot what I think will look cool or nice :D
