Spoonbill Fly-by! - S.W. Florida

Here is one from last year workshop which will take place once again in few weeks. This one was created using my Canon 400mm L lens handheld from a boat. Can't wait to get back out there.

Canon 1D MKIV, Canon 400mm L @ f/8, 1/1500 sec, ISO 400, Nik, Manual exposure

We get the white ones here but, man, it this one a looker. Love how its colours contrast with the sky, and the pose is great. A great shot of a great bird.

Great shot Max. I've seen a couple of these in the Tampa Bay area recently but they don't have nearly the pink that yours did. Must be the season.
