I contacted a seller on Ebay yesterday and so far he seems pretty legit. If not, I'm covered by PP. Nice to be on the other side of the fence. Either way I nailed a New, unboxed, Lee BS for $180 out the door. He shipped priority yesterday.

What I liked most was that he had them in stock at the normal price.

His Ebay store is here (external link).

He also has a web site, but the Lee BS's are $200 + S&H. That's here (external link). Not sure what his payment options are, but keep in mind if he doesn't offer PP there won't be any buyer coverage.

If you'd like to wait for me to be the guinea-pig and confirm next week I'll happily post back with images and what-not. Just thought I'd throw this out there for now.

2filter.com has the Big Stopper on a somewhat regular basis now, and for a few dollars less. Their wait list has been greatly reduced from 6 months to about 30 days. They're a legitimate company, many on POTN bought from them.

Agreed. I bought my Lee grads and Hitech holder from them. I like everything about them.

I just thought I'd give this guy a plug. His communication's been great so far, he shipped immediately, and his price is fair. And he's not gouging like some individuals do.

I was also able to use BillMeLater, so I have 6 months to pay. Might be attractive to others also.

Consider this guy just another resource.

Also, if I have any negatives to report about this guy I'll do so. Word on the web can spread very fast nowadays.

minus 1 in 2filter, at least from me. I ordered a few from them about a year and a half ago. THe order was aprtially delivered. I received all of the GNDs, holders and such in a timely manner but never received the Big Stopper. No message, nothing. I called several times and was finally told that it was backordered and I would get it the next shipment. Weeks and nothing, called again and was told basically the same thing. This went on for 6 months until I finally got fed up with them and canceled.

THis is that I would have put up with the long wait if someone over there would have gotten a clue and been able to deliver information that was somewhat correct but that wasn't the case. I would get excuses like it shipped, wrong address, checking, call back tomorrow, order just came in, basically any BS story that came to their mind. If just once someone would have come clean and said "there is a huge backorder, your's will be here in July", I could have lived with that. I'm ok with bad news, I'm not ok with bullsh#t. They had none of the former and lots of the latter.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

JJ, Sorry to read about your experience. Luckily mine was the opposite, yet I didn't order my BS (unlike your "BS") from them because of the back order at the time. I kept holding out for a good deal, not overpriced and in stock from anyone.

My main stipulations in dealing with a seller/vendor are communication, along with speedy delivery, return policy and a fair price. I say a fair price because if someone's a few dollars more I don't mind paying that if I get it faster and my other stip's are in order. I'm also impatient, so when I order something I want it yesterday, dammit.

I'm the same as you, if there were a problem just let me know, we're all human and $hit happens. Just keep communicating and tell me the way it is, no BS (like yours).

This guys communication has been awesome so far and my BS is scheduled to arrive today, just 2 days after I payed for it. That's what will bring me back again and again.

Received my BS today, just 2 days after ordering! It's legit, packaging was great and I can't wait to give it a test.

Here's my unboxing:

Maybe it's legit but going to his website caused all sorts of popups on my browser that were uncloseable. Just a warning.

Interesting. I haven't had that problem. I'm running Safari 6.0.2 on a Mac. I wrote to him either way and let him know.

Why not? I was bored today. :) Besides playing the Word Association Game, not much more to do but light Honey Do's.

Welcome to the internet. Millions of people document their un-boxings of more mundane things than this.

:D

Personally I love the trend.

The main reason I did this was to show the legitimacy of the seller. If I had just posted that I received it with no images or just an image of a BS how far would that go? Not too far I suspect. He treated me right, now I feel returning the favor is the right thing to do.

He treated you right? You bought something and he shipped it to you.
