This question is really going to depend on where you live, Here in the UK I like Amateur Photographer best of the print magazines. I have to say though that I do not think that I have bought a copy in over a year. I do have a quick look in the newsagents though sometimes if the cover looks particularly interesting. Mostly now just use POTN for my photography fix.

I like two for their photography; "Wine Connoisseur" and the magazine that comes monthly with my Wall St Journal. Eye candy in each of these. Wall St. Journal had a nice spread "Fifty Shades of White" recently with some great monochrome shots. It's probably on-line.

I view the photo magazines as little more than advertisements to buy this and that greatest whatnot that can change your life.

I recently discovered magazines from the UK. I could never see spending more than 12 bucks for a magazine but these are well worth it to me. I get a lot of things I can use from Digital Photo and Practical Photography. I get them from Barnes & Noble. They give me something to read and enjoy for a far longer time than what I was used to with Pop Photography, etc.

Youtube and Lynda.com

Although at B&N, I will scan the mags for the equipment info. That is when I pull myself away from the books.

just a few of my thoughts...

I like Photo Plus from Future Publishing in the UK it is a Canon specific magazine, Canon cameras and accessories, They do test 3rd party lens, grips, flashes, printers but it is compared to the Canon branded gear. They have a face book presence where you can ask questions if you are having issues with your gear. Lots of good info contained in the mag but it is more $$$ than say Popular Photography and other US based photo mags. I subscribe to several of the UK mags like Photo Plus,Digital Camera,Digital Photography. I am an analog material fan. Barnes and Noble book stores can feed your camera info lust and drain your bank account at the same time.

Canon 60D,18-55mm,55-250mm,50mm compact macro, AF ext tubes. Sigma 8-16mm uwa, 18-250mm, 85mm F1.4, 150-500mm

As far as photography magazines are concerned, Nature Photographer is my favorite.

My favorite magazine overall is Deer & Deer Hunting, due to their scientifically based articles on Whitetail Deer biology and behavior.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
