Evening all

Went to Lydden on Saturday for the sidecar test day. I think ive relised that 100-400 even though it is a good lens im getting bored of doing head on shots and much prefer wide pans so am thinking of selling my 70-200 f4 and 100-400 and getting a 70-200 f2.8, unsure of which one though as the mark 2 is a tad out of budget at the moment so any thoughts on the others most welcome. Just one question though any of the three of them will be better optically than my 70-200 f4 non is or am I just wasting money?
P.S ignore the watermark messed up in PP but all sorted now

They seem a bit underexposed to me. And the blur on some are a little much. I see that on those you were using 1/15 of a second. I would try something more along the lines of 1/60 with a wider aperture.

I would agree for you, but for Dex who's "getting bored of doing head on shots", shooting slow shutter speeds can be a lot of fun as long as a person doesn't mind deleting all the "almost" shots. I do it every year for the Dream Cruise & have had some interesting results.

This sidecar action seems very intense. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to shoot.
