I bloody hate that term. Don't think for a minute that a company like Canon would sell one of their cameras with a lens that wasn't perfectly capable. It's not the camera that takes a great photograph. Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.

It got me into photography but there's nothing wrong with admitting its a beginner lens and higher quality lenses will give you better pictures. That's all I was trying to say.
