#3 is the winner - the other two seem to have suffered from just a little camera movement? Very interesting lighting beneath the far end of the bridge.

I agree with the above. I especially like the neat reflected red lighting over the antenna towers too.

It gets breezy here.
You need a better pod or a shroud around it to block wind.

Yeah, camera shake was nearly impossible to stop...the big storm was blowing in and i had trouble keeping myself from being pushed around...but yeah, a better tripod would be wonderful, but for now, my $100 manfrotto cuts it in most conditions

I agree, 3 is fantastic!

I have yet to shoot this damn bridge! I've seen it many a times, but just never at the right time to stop and take shots.

The camera movement is unfortunate, as these look like great shots otherwise. Might want to try locking down your tripod and then weighing it down with your bag on the underside hook. That might help.

The last one is the only one technically good, the other two are out of focus.

well, the focusing was off for 2 reasons...extreme wind and very dark...as we all know, the t4i isnt the best low light performer...i believe i used autofocus on 1 of em and manual on another...manual focus through the view finder in darkness isnt the easiest thing to

Sounds like the tripod movement wasn't the real cuprit here, but your settings and technique. If you want the easiest, reliable method, learn a bit about the hyperfocal distance and how that can guarantee your shot to in focus, no matter what the lighting conditions are.

You can also use the infinity setting on your lens, set it and forget it type thing. But, beware, you need to actually test your lens in good light, to find the true spot of infinity on your lens... memorize that spot, and voila - easy to focus in pitch black.

Interesting shots # 3 is the best
