Didn't think I was going to get the break in the clouds, but this is probably the one time I'll get to see it; so I was glad the skies started to clear as the sun went down.

Just so happened the overlook I went to had a fellow canon shooter there, so I wasn't out in the cold wind all by myself. Had about 14min of viewing time.

Thanks! It's been cloudy the rest of the week so I'm glad I got something. I was hoping it would be closer to the moon, but having to pull out to the wider focal length added the town for the context so I'm happy with the result as it's pretty close to what I had pre-visualized.
