I am in between these 2 Cactus V5 or the Phottix Atlas II, which one should I go for? thanks;)


Canon 5D III, EF 24-105 f4, EF 16-35 2.8 L II, EF 70-200 2.8 IS L II, EF 100 2.8 IS L, EF 2x III, EF 1.4x III, 500D 77mm close up filter, Kenko extension tubes set, SpeedLight 600 EX RT, Metz 58 AF-2, Pixel Kings, Benro C3780T Tripod, Benro G3 Ball Head.

That's a hard question to answer without a lot more detail about what you hope to achieve or what gear you are using etc. I have a guide to the common manual triggers up here that may be of some help though -

Thanks, I have the metz 58 AF-2 and 600 EX RT and just wanted a good full manual only triggers, So stuck between those 2, thanks for the link.

Provided you don't mind the high profile of the Atlas Tx on the camera, or need the V5's manual pass through hotshoe for anything, the Atlas II are more refined with twice the range and higher quality. If moneys not the issue that's a fairly easy choice :-)
