I have this(still need to finish my write-up:oops
but am having an issue with it. Took it out last week to shoot our cars, and found one leg "locking up". I have it happen once out of the box, took it apart, realigned the bushings and it worked. Did it again, took the whole thing apart, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled.
Next time out, upon trying to extend the larger of one leg, it is as if the leg is twisting inside the larger leg, and the bushings are coming dislodged from their place. The locating "bulge" on the bushing therefore makes it hard to turn and extend or retract. Should it make a difference the order in which you extend the sections? As it is, I find that if I twist the lower sections to lock before the upper most section, it will twist and foul up.
Hope this makes sense. Any ideas?
Travis
