Comet PanStarr - over Phoenix

Went out last night to shoot the comet knowing it was a long way off I decided to use my 500 mm lens and did not bring any other lens- did not realize that the moon and the comet would just be far enough apart as not to fit into the realm of the 500 mm lens viewing angle- so here is a shot of the comet on the left and the moon on the right - there was some space between them (lol):D

Nice shots Marcy. I like the city lights as a foreground. I think it works well.

Thanks for posting, reminded me of the comet. I saw the moon last night but forgot all about the comet.
