I am printing a large team photo for my son's basketball team. The team is going to autograph the photo and give it to their coach at the end of the season. Any suggestions on best type of paper for this? I figure each player will sign it with a sharpie.

I'm sending this out to print (Adorama).

Thanks

I'd ask Adorama for a "sample pack" of their papers, and see what works best...

Perhaps a important as the paper is the type of pen you use. Go to a Jo-Ann or Michaels craft store and pick up a Zig Photo Signature pen (or something similar).

A heavy paper for sure and probably a mat finish. I don't see a gloss paper being any use.

Matte paper for sure. Glossy paper tends to smudge with pen ink, and the back side is basically plastic, you can't get anything to stick to it.

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.

Thanks all, sample pack is a good idea. Hadn't thought about the pen. I have a Michaels by me, I'll take a look at pens.
