I'll have to go with the F3. That Lynx is cool. I remember one landed on our ship when I was on deployment. Those Royal Navy guys are really cool. They come to our space where we control. A few people assumed they were from Autralia even with the UK flag right there on their uniform

Isn't the top speed of a Lynx 186mph/330 kmh ?

I would say the Lynx will win.

On a side note there was a show I cought on Discovery Channel or something where they put a top notch sports car (like a Fararri)on a closed airport against an Apache, to see if the apache could get a lock on it at close range. The car lost over and over. It was only able to extend it's "life" be a few seconds with some fancy manouvers

I'd say the car has its advantage as far as acceleration is concerned.

If the race does not cover too long a distance, the car will win.

Best regards,
Andy

your all right, the car won my a long way!! might of been a different story if the Lynx was armed! i seem to remember Top Gear on BBC2 with an AH64 trying lock onto a car. from memory it didnt manage it but the pilot said it wouldnt of mattered they could of sliced the car in half with their mahinegun!

That would be 'Top Gear' with Jeremy Clarkson driving a Lotus Exige.

He did manage to evade missile lock for an entire lap of their track (based on an old airport)

However, then the Apache did what is was designed to do, sat back a kilometre or so away, and got missile lock almost immediately.

I think that might have been the show. Thought they said they would have been able to get him with the chin gun though. Or that might have been the conversation in my head.

yes top gear episode, i saw it as well.
in Fifth gear they placed the Honda racing bike, against theri F1 car and their racing boat, the gave the boat a headstart, and the F1 smoked the bike and destroyed the boat.

so all my chips are on the F3.

in anycase, great photos
