Took this as a bit of a snap when I got my 7D and 100-400L in the summer
Thought it was nice enough, but nothing special
Put it on Flickr on Saturday with no expectations, but it got explored and got up to #43 and now, 5 days later has more than 5,600 views.

Really took me by surprise as not one of my most technical shots or really one of my favourites!

The most unlikely images can draw attention when you least expect it... An image of a succulent is my most liked image on Instagram, yet it was taken in flat light with the X-100. This image has some merit, but 5,600 views is amazing...

it is odd PJay

Don't get me wrong, i do like this shot, but the response has been off the scale, while some I consider to technically and visually far superior have fallen flat!

Its a funnny old world!
