daytime photography with a modded dslr

I have been considering having my dslr shipped off to be modified for astrophotography but I really love regular daytime photography, macro, landscape, birding, architechtural. Naturally I am timid about loosing daytime image quality. I plan to have a bader IR filter inserted over the sensor so that I can continue daytime photography with a custom white balance but I am concerned about things like moire, autofocus, light sensitivity, color balance, and other oddities that occur when using the camera for non astrophotography so I wanted to start a thread asking for fellow astrophotographers to share properly white balanced daytime images taken with modded dslr's or with the 20Da or 60Da. I am sure this will help others as well so thanks for sharing.

I had a modded 40D. Not with the Baader filter, but clear glass. Used it for couple of years for both terrestrial and astro. Here's some of my terrestrial shots with it. As you've mentioned, it's just the white balance that's an issue but easy to fix in PP.
