Just dried up here...

EOS 1D Mk II with EF 17-40 f/4L @ 20mm f/4, ISO 160, 1/500 sek,

Sorry, I've fixed the image now..

Stood with lens and face pointing right from this angle, heard the "ka-whump" sound as the wave hit land. Aimed my camera in slow-mo-panic-style and shot this... Pretty pleased, considering the alternative.

I really like the one with the lighthouse. The red roof just sets off the composition.

It's 160 ISO, but cropped and levelscorrected quite a bit. Due to the severe weather the light was indeed flat with almost no contrast/color.
