Should I buy Tamron 28-300?

get the sigma 24-70 2.8 and the sigma 70-200 2.8

much better


30mm, 50mm, 85mm, and some zooms here and there.
All nikon :D

Agreed, I have the 18-55 kit & the Tamron 70-300. I can't say I really missed the 55-70 area..... & both are so light you can carry them both all day & not get tired.

It was a very cheap to set up & learn the trade with & more often than not I was very pleased with the results :)

EDIT : But unlike Ron, I would not advise against the 28-300 either, it's a compromise lens & therefore just not the sort of lens you can buy & then come back here later saying "my shots are soft at 3.5", but you've got a fair bit of range cheaply & no lens changing necessary :)
