Nesting Herons, Egrets, Cormorants

My wife and I hiked out to a local rookery this morning. In a line of very large trees nest Double Crested Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, and Snowy Egrets, sometimes all three in the same tree.

That's some tough shooting C-L!
I think next time you should take some branches with you to make sure you have some to put up in your way - :).
I like the 1st the best, but admire the efforts in all of them. Must be an amazing site and sound when they all get cranked up.

Great shots under the circumstances, birds in tree are often hard with all the clutter.
